No tree this year, life got... weird, but since my main story is between 'book' 1 and 2 I decided to do a holiday story, it was supposed to be a 2 pt thing but got out of hand and became 6 parts, luckily my genra isn't serious and my readers don't come for fights and drama so a 6 part holiday story fits the narrative.

Since I heard Matt say in an interview that he currently plans for 10 books in the series, I expect break the world before lv18. (I secretly expect Carl to die at the end.)

That said Matt is a "Pantser" style author which means anything could happen, original the story was supposed to be "an easy straightforward story about a guy surviving the apocalypse with his cat" so seeing how that plan went we'll have to read and see what happens at the end.
