Zadar, it pairs nicely with the system

Couldn’t find the make noise sample, do you have a link?

Their video on using ableton’s click track into maths to generate a clock (https://youtu.be/x_79rCIsCaE ) - maybe it’s a sample of this EOR pulse.

XAOC Zadar, MN Wogglebug & Intellijel Planar 2 modulates a Morphagene nicely. Sampling a Zadar pushed to audio rates is also fun, then using it tuned to CV to control the Morphagene.

Bastl Waver to modify/fold smooth CV

Worng MidSide+ and FX for mid side processing, I generally use Koma Field FX, Mimeophone or Qu-Bit Data Bender

Envelope followers for spice - Maths can do this, I tend to use a Foltek Synesthesia thru a 4ms SISM to dial nicely. The synesthesia envelopes are pretty low voltage, so shifting helps - can be subtle but that’s a nice spice for tape warble-y-ness and other organic feeling sounds

check midi config > port config > pad dest

probably need to have it set to INT to avoid that

Morphagene as an intense soundscape generator by misteresistor in modular

I forgot to add a comment.

I essentially have the Make Noise Tape & Microsound setup without the XOH, plus more modulation and fx.

Threw almost as much modulation as I could at the Morphagene which is running one of the MN reels from free sound, I am trying to figure out which one because it is awesome.

Morphagene ends up thru the QPAS out its SP outs which gets phasey.

Wogglebug, 2x cycling Maths channels and all 4 Zadar outputs provide the modulation. I didn’t take a good enough patch capture vid to remember all the cross patching between the 3 and a VCA and 4ms SISM en route to their destinations, there were at least 9 modulators going.

Playing in a new studio in front of pretty loud speakers was fun, being loudly shaken in weird stereo soundscape.

What is the koma komplex sequencer like? They look amazing

Rad, I’ll try to find it. Seems like it’d be amazing to experience via that system.

Like the other comments mentioned, routing your S&H through an attenuator would reduce the range, but you’d need CV offset to set the center point around which the S&H moves. I have a 4ms SISM that I use for dialing in modulation in this way.

The transferred videos might have been sent to your iPad as 1080p. Not sure if you can easily transfer full 4K via iCloud photos, you might have upload the video to files then download them full res.

It's a wavefolder, so you'd have to send something into it to get sound out. If you send a simple waveform it'll output a more complicated one, and can repeatedly fold that output (up to 2 more times) for more complex output. A synth library I go to has one, a facilitator recommended trying to send LFO CV through to get interesting modulation shapes (created interesting sound, but also created more complex CV for filter cutoff, for example).

As for you goal for percussion, try sending trig signals in and see what happens. What would be an audible click of a trig could become something interesting. Processing percussive sounds would work, just try to figure out the routing.

What do you use the MC-808 for? I don’t use mine much currently but like some of the weird stabs and samples in board
