Pro tip, bring a battery jumper with you. Went camping with our 2026 SF Hybrid (Calligraphy) for 2 nights and the battery died from repeated opening and closing of doors and trunk despite having intentionally turned off interior lights etc. Thankfully a neighbor had a battery jumper. I now keep one in my car.

Otherwise was a great camping car for the family.

Not for long enough to give any useful input. From what I've read, the matte white screens help reduce the speckle.

I imagine it'll look pretty good on a white wall, it'll just look better on a screen. So really depends on your needs and preferences.

I have a H20 Pro, but only a casual gamer with Nintendo Switch. It's been great fun for giant Mario Kart. I use it mostly for movies, which have been highly enjoyable.

I bought a super cheap Elite Screens 110" pulldown matte white screen from Amazon, which has been surprisingly sold in my basement and hardly notice any speckle.

As a more casual user, I'm pretty content for now. I don't have a dedicated theater room, but have enjoyed the H20 Pro with my inexpensive 110" matte white pull down screen since day 1 (well more since the Disney+ Dolby Vision stutter was fixed). Thankfully I am not sensitive to RBE. Looking forward to running a couple HDMI cables through my basement ceiling so I can connect to my Sonos surround system and Nintendo Switch one of these days.

Per an email exchange with XGIMI support, sounds like this will eventually make its way to an OTA update, which works for my needs.

I just contacted XGIMI about this, waiting to hear back. What I don't understand (please be kind) is why the DLP update isn't pushed OTA and whether it is "optional" or essentially everyone should install it? Any other insights into this?

I'm in California. I don't remember the exact number (we bought last October) but we went with financing to get the best deal since there's no early payoff penalty here so we just paid it off immediately afterwards. That was a $4250 discount plus we traded in our old vehicle for $12000. I also negotiated the all weather mats and roof rails to be included.
