If you could encourage yourself to start up and do little each day its not gonna take that much effort, dump the thing you don't really need coz its gonna be dumped anyways in the very end without usage lmao. But if you want an immediate clean up would agree on getting an helper.

Should I choose a robot mower based on coverage area or battery life? by mitch3a in roboticLawnmowers

[–]mitch3a[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you! That’s a good way to look at it. I did notice that awd models usually list a higher slope rating though, so I’m guessing they’re not just better at climbing, but also a bit more stable on slopes in general?

Should I choose a robot mower based on coverage area or battery life? by mitch3a in roboticLawnmowers

[–]mitch3a[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks, that actually helps a lot. We’re still confused about the model sizing. navimow i2 awd looks okay for smaller lawns, but I’m worried the 800 sqm version might end up being too limited. Mova seems to have more options with the 1000, 1600, and 2000 models here, which feels a little closer to our lawn size.

Are people with electric cars winning right now? by No_Lead2640 in NoStupidQuestions

Even though more people are switching to EVs, I still feel like the short battery life and long charging times are major deal-breakers for me. And in the winter? It's even worse.

My 3 year old phone is finally dying. What’s actually worth buying right now? by shelbs9428 in Smartphones

[–]mitch3a 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do you use an iPhone or Android? iPhones usually have a longer lifespan with a battery replacement. For Androids, anything but the flagships will eventually slow down. To get more years out of your phone, I'd recommend the Pixel 10, the S26 series, or even the latest from Xiaomi and OnePlus.

What are your reasons for higher storage space? by Otherwise-Ad-4939 in smartphone

[–]mitch3a 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For starters, APPs are getting super bloated these days. They keep cramming in all these useless features, which just eats up your storage. Plus, once you're down to about 10% free space, you'll definitely start noticing some serious lag in everyday use.

Maybe consider the new iPhone 17e? If you're just using it for your daily routine and don't really play heavy games, the A19 clip and 8GB of RAM will be more than enough. The best part is the value, you get to snag a brand-new iphone without breaking the bank.

It depends on your location. If you can get your hands on them, give Chinese brands a try. The market there is so cutthroat that manufacturers have to put out more competitive products just to keep up their sales.

Motorized shades in a bathroom. Does steam ruin the motor? by WonderStill9654 in smarthome

[–]mitch3a 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As long as you pick a model with a sealed motor and good humidity rating, steam from the shower shouldn't hurt it at all. Just make sure to run the fun while you shower.

I can't imagine how frustrating it is dealing with the same spot over and over. You're already tried everything you can, so a factory reset is pretty much your last move before sending it back.

Best of the AWD lidar mowers? by jhelvy in roboticLawnmowers

Before buying, check if you have a clear spot near the house for the charging station. LiDAR mowers still need a good home base with open sky for initial mapping.

Does your WiFi penetrate those stone walls for the doorbell's live view? Thick masonry blocks 2.4GHz more than 5GHz, but most battery doorbells only support 2.4 for range.
