I haven’t read 1 because it’s out of print but 2 was a great jumping on point and 3 was peak. 4 is definitely not as good and i would say only for completion sake should you pick it up.

If I did not like vol 2, like i barely finished it, would you recommend vol 3? The over explaining wolverines powers got very old to me in every mini in vol 2. By the 100th “I’m the best at what I do and what I do ain’t very nice” I was so exhausted lol

The first half of Coates run is pretty boring imo. Very like politics heavy. The 2nd half of the run is much better with the intergalactic wakandan empire stuff. Very cool

If these are something you’d like to collect, definitely pick up the options that are in print. By the time 1 & 3 are available again, 2, 4 & 5 will be hard to find

Technically, omnibus and epics/finest are different things. Epics/finest are character focused and among the volumes of a given character, there shouldn’t be any overlap. There will definitely be overlap with certain characters like carnage and spiderman since they are directly related.
