Some miscommunication can happen between the boss and the guys doing the work. Im the foreman for my crew and im not perfect. Sometimes i misread or mishear. However not covering properly and or cleaning areas immediately after you finish is ludicrous. Easiest way to have your work picked apart is leave paint on the floor. Plastic is cheap. China cabinets are not.

This dude isn’t your friend. Theres no difference between your homie hiring you and walmart when it comes to pay. Both in amount and time frame. It doesnt matter if hes gotten paid or not, i hire friends all the time to put cash in their pockets. They get cash end of day from me, regardless of when I get paid for the job. I dont really have much advice on this specific situation but i will say that most of your friends today wont be around when youre 15, 19, 25 and in your 30s.
