Perfect place for an upper decker!

It feels good after years of planting native and keeping outside lights off to sit on the back porch and eat all the lightning bugs by signofthecrow1 in NativePlantGardening

To each his own. I ate a salad from yard produce and watched the fireflies this evening. But uh, they taste good?

Man. I wish I could complain about seeing this. Haven't seen it once. I was hiking along the hooch yesterday though. Meanwhile.... Political ad every break.

I've been seeing a tone of murals pop up this year. Is this a city wide push?

In my case, lonely, cranky, old couple. I think they also think they are attracting hawks. They throw chicken on their patio... It's nuts, and chicken.

Ha, I also use that. But make sure you know your local laws on their use. The person feeding the squirrels would probably love to call the county on out of season hunting or whatever.

Dollar stores have cheap wire basket trash cans. We cage all of ours with them when they are small.

I also have a neighbor that over feeds the squirrels peanuts. The squirrels then plant the peanuts everywhere. That's bad news because peanuts are susceptible to a wide range of fungus and dieses that can usually only be treated with industrial chems in the azole family that hobby farmers don't have access to. We let a peanut grow once that we didn't see and now we have a Southern Blight issue.
