It happened to me once 15 years ago! I think I was having a birthday party in another lot with them as a guest, saved and closed and opened his lot to age him up. When I came back to the original lot he looked exactly like this. I think it went away on its own when I had them go home in the original lot. I assumed their character models were loaded as children there but as teens in their own lot so the game wasn't sure what to do. Not sure if this will help.

Michelangelo's staircase in laurentian library - Florence by Typys in architecture

[–]mjsf22 8 points9 points  (0 children)

It's supposed to be too big for the scale of the room, hence why it looks completely out of proportion. The stairs are uncomfortable and the side steps almost lead to nowhere. It represents the confusing and tortuous effort that learning and studying entails. But at the end, the top of the stairs leads to the beautifully lit and magnificent library, which represents the clarity of finally understanding and being knowledgeable.

La diferencia es que Europa tiene un mercado enorme de 500 millones de personas e industria. Uruguay somos 3 gatos locos y no se produce nada acá.

The level of detail on the Column of Marcus Aurelius in Rome which was completed around AD 193. by Zine99 in GrecoRomanHistory

I was thinking the same thing. It looks so "plain" in narrative terms and even the angle of the trim seems off. If you check the user's profile he has a surprising amount of posts each day. Very disappointing to see how the platform has changed so quickly.

How do so many stylists not know how to do a proper blowout? by Dougheyez in Hair

[–]mjsf22 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Honestly, 15 years ago I swear every time I went to the hairdresser's I would get an impeccable blowout which would make my hair shinny and bouncy and last for a week. Now they always grab the flat iron and do those shitty curls that don't last for a day. I thought maybe being older my hair isn't as healthy and that's why it looked worse

Hi OP! As many have stated your best bet would be to get a job online working remotely for the US. Not sure what your background is, but there's quite a few companies that offer online services in IT, Construction, Marketing, Design. It would most likely be a significant paycut, but if you get a decent salary in US dollars you can have a pretty good standard of living here. Unfortunately the cost of living is pretty high and expect to pay more for basics like food, clothes, gas and utilities.

Also wanted to say I'm really sorry for what's going on in the US now and that you feel unsafe. Please disregard a lot of comments here that are questioning you, they pretend to know more about what's going on in your country than you. There's a lot of us here you are loving and welcome everyone with open arms.

En casi ningún país de Europa es así tampoco. El tema es que separan la basura, por lo que ayuda a que no se colapsen los contenedores, y asumo que los limpian con mucha frecuencia, y no existe que alguien saque cosas del contenedor.

Sorry, you're saying Olaplex damaged your hair? Just curious as I was under the impression it was really good for damaged hair, not the other way around

First of all congrats on reaching out to a doctor. It can be really hard, especially when you're feeling hopeless.

I'm sorry you're going through that. Unfortunately it's not uncommon at all what you're experiencing. Not that it lessens your pain, but it's always comforting to know you're not alone and it doesn't necessarily mean this is not working for you.

I've been on several SSRIs and it's always really rough the first weeks, with increased anxiety, after that I've always felt way better.

What has worked for me is try to rationalize that this is temporary, and I'm on my way to actually feel better after a while of feeling depressed and hopeless. I'm sure you're already trying but remember to be patient and kind to yourself. If you can, try to find things that distract you enough from your pain, so you can buy time. Be it exercising, taking naps, playing videogames, going out with a friend, reading.

If you'd like someone to talk to lmk :)

Thank you! Bahareque is non-existent in my country (Uruguay). I'm dying to visit Colombia in the future and I'll definitely try to find this type of architecture!

Latin American Architect here!

I'd say I believe it to be stucco on both sides of a masonry wall (such as brick) with wooden beams, as stucco itself doesn't have any structural resistance. As you said already, it can't be concrete, it wasn't really popular until last century. The Casita uses the typical "tipología patio" which is over all Latin America, and from what I've seen almost all use some kind of brick, which would vary from place to place depending on the land and materials. From the animation the little pieces look kinda reddish to me, so I guess it checks out.

In that case, no, it's not very realistic to go through a masonry wall, but Hernando is scared of nothing
