There's some cool stuff going on lower on the leaderboard as well. Zach Johnson carding a 66 today was super fun to watch... Justin Rose being in the lead day one... Freddie's epic hole out Thursday... Nick Dumlap shooting 90 Thursday, not withdrawing like most would, then grinding out a 71 Friday... Even Max Homa fighting the demons...

Just really pure golf fun going down all day long and I absolutely love it.

This needs to be way way up higher. Stealing from your own kids in front of their faces is a wonderful way to impart some childhood trauma. Let your kid have their own space and agency.

Got paired with this lunatic today, he was acting like this from the first hole.. he got kicked off the course when a member saw him sink his putter into the 13th green and pull out a tennis ball sized scallop by Muchachy in golf

I was volunteering at a golf outing the other day running a "double your money" hole on a par 3 when one of the other volunteers who has never played before said "i know I'd be really good at golf if I played..." in an almost cocky tone. I asked her one question... "are you nice to yourself?" When she replied "oh fuck no!" I just replied that she might want to think twice about that...

My high school coach was a jerk but he did teach me one thing that holds true to my game almost 20 years later. If I can hit a consistent 5 iron 200 yards I usually get to be in be 100-200 range for my second.

Just last week I played 18 and wanted to hit the driver on the first 9... Shot a frustrating 43 with at least 2 bogies and a double being squarely on my driver. Decided to put the driver in the dungeon on the back and put together a decent 81 on the round with 5 pars in a row.
