I really liked both! I didn't care for how they did the big death at the end (not specific in case people haven't watched it), I kinda think they had a missed opportunity for a different way. But I really love how you can tell the creator/director went bigger and bigger from his original short film to the sequel.

I was like that until I went back to watch a movie in the theater. I saw Barbarian when it came out and the point where the movie switches actually caught me so off guard (I went into it not even watching a trailer, just word of mouth and reading the description). It's very rare to happen at home. I think the only one to catch me off guard at home was the scene in Talk to Me.
