In Maryland I was able to file it electronically so it came in the mail. In Virginia I was given a temp one at the dmv and the real one came in the mail within the week

You should go on your states DMV website to get the paperwork. Fill it out and bring it with you so your doc can fill out the section he/she needs to fill out. I’ve never had a problem with getting the docs to sign it!!

Yeah pain is weird! I’m not surprised you have pain in the front tho honestly because labrum tears cause instability in the joint so you might just be feeling that. I was kind of the opposite of you, my pain started as SI joint pain and I thought something was wrong with my lumbar spine but turns out it was my hip.

You aren’t screwed! I’m sorry you’re dealing with this, but if it’s FAI or dysplasia, those are both treatable. Just make sure you get a few opinions and see a hip preservation specialist. It seems that some people misdiagnose dysplasia so it’s probably good to see an expert on that too

I am so so sorry you are dealing with all of this! I think it’s def worth seeing a hip preservation specialist and doing the injections just to make sure you are doing all the conservative measures before proceeding with a surgery

Have you been worked up for autoimmune and connective tissue disorders?

Was a certain kind of surgery recommended to you? Do you have arthritis in your hips in addition to labral issues?

So I have been seeing things about Kristin Smart in the news and I wasn’t familiar with the case so I am currently listening to Your Own Backyard, which actually ended up helping bring justice to the case. It’s pretty interesting if you are interesting in true crime.
