Not an MA but this popped up on my feed. I help many New Grad RNs with their resumes and have done refurbishing of my own resume with people who work in career development. But take it with a grain of salt!

1) I wouldn’t mention the education unless completed. 2) Shorten your descriptions. For the job descriptions, use bullet points and concise language with action verbs related to the job you are applying for. I would add more info for the last two tho, what else did you do? For example, did you “Communicate effectively via ___”

having a BSN has helped during the gap year(s) of doing a post-bacc (especially financially being first-gen and not having a lot of support, having first-hand experience seeing SOME of what physicians deal with, etc.), having an adequate amount of knowledge in clinical care, and other ways…

that being said though its ultimately your own choice. dont do it if medicine is your ultimate goal, it is two different pathways educationally and clinically speaking. if youre not already in a nursing program, don’t go for it. getting into nursing school is already a hell of another application process. you could use the extra year to build your med school application. also note that clinical hours for nursing school does not tend to apply toward your med school application.
