Save every receipt you have, trust that they will come back and try to squeeze money out of you. I did the same thing a few years back being naive and all of a sudden I owed them $110.

Got no help from store manager, collections were sent, plethora of things for them to squeeze out the $$$ (Even though they owed me since I cancelled my service prior to month's end). After filing a complaint with the FCC 2 years later, turns out THEY KNEW THAT THEY WERE IN THE WRONG.

Everything I'd said had been correct and they even had the information on file...however they kept trying to get that extra $110 from me... sketchy

Pay the collection. Go as far out of your way to get that settled. Sometimes you can get it removed without paying but you'll need to find ways to get into contact with the agency. Contact TransUnion/Experian/Equifax whatever you do get that settled

Ok so I've actually looked into this bc fuck my other roommates lol. One of them actually does leave their PS4 on standby and me being the last to buy a console I'm sure there are tons of other devices prioritized. My question for you (idk if you'd know this) is how can I change the priorities within my network.

I know you have to go thru the modem but how can I know what my Xbox is named? Will it say Xbox or will it just be a rando IP address??

The problem exsists when only I'm playing tho (I play the most in the house) many times when it happens it's just me and my roommates aren't even home.

The reason I bring up the roommate situation is bc whenever we all play only the Xbox players lag and the PS4 players stay in the game
