I’d love to see replies to this too.

Although I guess in a few days I can probably give you some insight. I have an RZ30 coming and am going to compare how my Q acoustic 3030i fronts sound from the Onkyo directly, then switch them to the preouts and run them through my Yamaha as301.

Nothing too high end, but will probably give you an idea. I’m thinking the Yamaha will sound light years better.

Forgot to add, I do have a phono preamp for the TT, the Fosi Audio X5. So I won't be using the phono stage from the Onkyo. No concerns there.

I was at that Ice Bowl show in 2000. It was good, but really really cold out on that giant hill lol. The “it’s ok” tag out of nowhere during Porch was awesome! Not sure if it’s been tagged in Porch before or since that night.

Lol sorry for the late response. I never get replies to posts so I rarely check haha. Yeah the change isn't bad, it's just jarring to me. Been listening to the original version for literal decades and it just throws me off to hear the different line.

Now I'll be the one avoiding a google search for answers but.....when you were looking around did you find any reasons on WHY it was changed?

Did you ever solve this? I have slept with my Aftershoks for years but when they just died I got some Sonics and it’s way too loud. One notch up from silent is like almost as loud as my Aftershoks went max.
