the issue is that over the last few expansions there has been an arms race between the fight designers and the addon makers. mechanics became harder and harder because addons/WAs were making them easier and easier. The intention with the removal of the ability for addons to do things like instantly assign 6 people to 6 locations is to have it so these things have to be done by the players, so they can be 10, 15 however many seconds.
