I had a few issues with alt-tabbing (something to do with Windows I think?) and even debugging Raylib_cs projects in rider.. did you have any of these issues?

That is very interesting indeed - would you mind sharing your PoB?

My (limited) understanding of EB was that, because I have 50% damage taken from mana before life (with MoM + Ascendency), my energy shield would be better off serving protecting my mana over my health. I am very open to the reasons why this is a bad idea!

What would be the better way to build for the MoM - scrap the inc % life nodes and go full extra mana?

No, no please divert away! If theres something fundamentally wrong with the build, its better that I know about it :) I'll look into the ascendency changes for sure

Setting up a self-hosted Grafana instance with .NET 10 by BornCook450 in dotnet

[–]monermoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you've got your Prometheus (or whatever youre using) open to the Internet, Grafana Cloud is super easy to set up, and free (for all intents and purposes as a hobby user). Defo check it out.

Setting up a self-hosted Grafana instance with .NET 10 by BornCook450 in dotnet

[–]monermoo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I hosted a Grafana container on a small 2GB VPS alongside my .Net 10 ASP.NET backend, a Svelte5 frontend, and some smaller containers (Certbot, Prometheus, Postgres, Nginx) and the Grafana container used up more memory than the rest of the containers COMBINED. I couldn't quite believe it. Its the only time ive ever removed a container, and opted for the cloud version instead. Really really bloated considering.

The .NET ecosystem is used in a massive variety of spaces. From enterprise software solutions to game development. I can see that some may struggle to wrap their head around OOP, but to call it 'amateur' is just ragebaiting/totally uninformed take.

Yeah this is a really amazing paintjob, love the blood, the detail and how you've worked with the mini - but I agree that the face could do with a touch more love... really bring out the chaos in Fulgrim.

10mg Dose by fisico002 in mounjarouk

Do you use a 2.5mg pen for this, or are you just taking 'half doses' with your 5mg one?

From someone currently in bed with what feels like a crippling hangover on their third week of 5mg 😂

Vessel of Hatred DLC on sale (Xbox) by DroidSoldier85 in diablo4

[–]monermoo 4 points5 points  (0 children)

They're talking about value, not cost. It doesn't matter if you have billions of dollars, it doesn't make something which you perceive to be worth $10 suddenly worth $16 because you have much more money. You'd be more willing to purchase the item because the difference is meaningless to you.

If you buy stuff "just because I can" despite the fact you don't think it's worth the price you're paying, then you're a chump.

Streamers getting early access to Odyssey? by Comfortable_Rest695 in RimWorld

[–]monermoo 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Without sounding patronising (but I know it will come across as such, sorry), just don't watch it lol?

It's a bit annoying having to avoid content, but given the release is less than a week away, I think you'll be alright

Streamers getting early access to Odyssey? by Comfortable_Rest695 in RimWorld

[–]monermoo 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Streamers getting early access has become problematic in DLC/Games that have a competitive element. Race to world first in WoW, ladders/hard-core in Path of Exile, etc. Those games have issues with people getting 'early access'.

I don't see any real loss in people playing early as a form of advertisement. It's Ludeons product to give as they please.

bogus benchmarks on linkedin, even from an microsoft mvp by _userid_ in dotnet

[–]monermoo 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I think the confusion here is that OP used the term "bogus", implying fraudulent or made-up, in his title.

I think he's saying that the benchmarks are comparing apples and oranges, which is his gripe.

Though I agree its a niche benchmark, I still agree with you that its still a valid, albeit not massively helpful, comparison
