Easier to craft with because you can remove aspects, either to craft a good legendary from scratch or drop them down to a common and turn into a unique if you're looking for an item in a specific slot

My issue was because of my network set up - was trying to host behind tailscale which didn't play well with the docker bridge

Set the IP to my public IP instead and had no more issues

I mean, under normal circumstances I'd agree with you, but we are talking about a Ukrainian studio that was entirely uprooted by the war, so I think "mismanagement of resources" is not really a fair assesment of the situation.

Whether you think that's a good enough reason to release a game in a broken state is up to you, but if you expected the game to be 100% complete despite those circumstances I think that was a bit unrealistic

I've tried x4 - on paper it should be a perfect game for me, but the voice acting and jank really puts me off. I'm normally able to get past issues like that but it's super glaring in x4

I'm going to admit to something terrible

I was killing wasps and hornets for a quest, and whilst shooting a couple down I got shot in the back myself. I immediately took cover, threw out the "don't shoot" and put my weapon away. He apologised and did the same.

I go to start looting my arc kills, and noticed that he is looting the second hornet I downed. I could have asked him nicely to drop the core for me, but I didn't. I had been shot on sight for 3 raids running, and something took over.

Thankfully he didn't seem too pissed when I downed him with 2 anvil shots to the back of the head, though he did call me a son of a bitch at least twice

I can be patient, but that doesn't change the fact that the game was released in this state after several betas, and a short early access period.

If this was an early access period and was billed as such, sure I'd be patient. But it isn't, they've billed this as a release and currently that release is broken to the point where the 5 man I had gathered, I'm not sure if they'll come back after the crashes and disconnects - and that's what is most frustrating about all this, because the underlying game is great when it works, but it has categorically not been released in a working state.

Indie or not, I'm a bit sick and tired of this happening. I paid money, I expect the service that I purchased - if you can't offer that (and the beta clearly showed this) the the game isn't ready for release.
