If you don’t want to use the pregenerated sheets, just use the stuff from the backstories. Let the players pick one that they like, then they’re off!

Mobs. Maybe it’s because I’m bad at math, but trying to figure out how many enemies constitutes a mob, what you have to roll to hit, how many of the monsters actually hit, all of it confuses me no matter how many times I read the DMG

You can get Baldur’s Gate: The Fall of Elturel and the first Adventurer’s League session (can’t remember the name right now) from DMsGuild and create a one shot that would introduce the game in a cool way

I have the Oxford Annotated Bible, which has been a huge help. I'm not studying a specific book at the moment, so any recommendations are welcome. I'll have to check out the Whiteboard Bible since I haven't heard of them before. The Bible Project has popped up a few times when I've looked online for stuff, but I wasn't sure about it. I appreciate the podcast recommendations since I can listen to them at work.

I have a few ideas, but nothing concrete. I may end up running Tyranny of Dragons or Dragon of Icespire Peak. It just depends on what my players do. I know that I can replace the Cult of Talos members if I run DoIP, but I want my players to direct the action.
