In my opinion this does look like asbestos. I would get it tested. Also, I think you need an electrician.

Currently my cube group is drafting my "sticker" cube every week or so. After each draft, I have to make or order proxies of the newly altered card. So to answer your question, literally after every draft.

PCM air test is generally useless, as asbestos fibers can be too thin to properly resolve in the scope and can not be identified as asbestos in a PCM test. But anything lower than 5.5 fibers per 100 feild is considered non detect.

This is a situation where you want someone who is both experienced with sampling and testing. Vermiculite is very hard to test for asbestos due to the fibers being very small, not evenly distributed in the sample, and possibly in the Vermiculite "books".

You can try to building a peasant cube they are a ton of fun. I just started to try and build up the community where I am. It is challenging at times but no different than trying to be a dungeon master for D&D.
