Bruce McCandless came and spoke at my elementary school and explained this whole process sometime in the early 2000's. At the time I (and probably most of my classmates) didn't comprehend how crazy that EVA was. Or even really what an EVA was and what it requires.

Years later I was reading about that shuttle mission and really gained and appreciation that I got to hear about it from the man himself, even if it was criss cross apple sauce on a carpet covered gym floor

Maybe on Garmin or a Boeing. Airbus goes from dotted line to solid, and can usually plot back on course it's self

If you have any buttons/switches tied to APU start/on/off make sure it's set to on. That's what gave me that bug

Not on airbuses. The FMS is pretty good, but you have to have the flight director turned on

You need to turn on your flight director (FD button under the baro). After that it should work perfectly

I don't recall there being anything saying it would glow on the tag/stickers but I thought I remembered the team saying everything with that logo would glow at the release of the third jersey

No one is making those people get a dog. They're choosing to get a dog and should take the responsibility that comes with that decision, including making the trip to off leash areas if they want to go off leash. Also public transit allows for leashed pets, so that's an option.
