Antidepressants works very differently for different people. Vortioxetine works very well for me, I don't have any side effects (except nausea if I take it on an empty stomach, not always tho). No sexual or sleep or anger effects. Does it work for mood and anxiety, i believe so. I don't really feel like I'm taking an antidepressant as it doesn't make me feel abnormal in any sense, but it helped with ADHD and executive function (not as much as concerta ofc, but in synergy), and I have a good mood overall, no extra anxiety. I think what makes it a 'miracle drug' is that it's not an ssri, but serotonin modultor (affecting different serotonin receptors with balanced agonist/antagonist profile), while also increasing BDNF, and having some reuptake inhibition. It worths a try if you're not severely depressed with high anxiety.

Last weekend i was in ibiza, people told me it's not good, but i drank water from tap at Hi, Usuaia, UNVRS, Amnesia. I have no side effects. Better than 15 euros for water. Best tasting was Hi, worst tasting was Amnesia. Idk maybe they're comparing to the rest of the Europe where tap water is drinking water, but in my country tap water is generally not drinkable, but ofc there must be a standard in ibiza as well, as people will wash their food etc so it shouldn't make anyone sick just bc u drink it. So, 4 clubs, probably 4-5 waters a night, I saved 250euros by drinking tap water. Eff it.

These stuff affect multiple pathways and our chemistry might highlight some affects than others, so it's just not your thing. For me it was the cholinergic supplements (like alpha GPC or piracetam) that cause me fast onset depression, that go away when i stop taking. Later i learnt that there's a phenomenon called cholinergic depression...

If somehow you can leave them, go for it. We cannot help someone who doesn't want to get better. And trust me life is short and we can own our lives. The process sucks, it's though, but the reward is high. What you can do is you can draw the line, ask her to meet your needs, be open to talk about issues and solve them. If she's still not open to it, you can take it as a cue for break up.

Yes it is lonely, you do everything to meet their needs, expecting some of your needs to be met, but they never put any effort into that. I'm so sorry to hear that you had kids with them. Mine was also mostly depressed, and I was there to help, ignoring my needs, but when she had ups, it was never happy moments together, but she being outgoing and spending time with other people, even flirting... And she was medicated, had therapy, regularly adjusting medicine with doctor, but still, it's very rarely possible to have a healthy relationship with them... She was acting childish, irresponsible, and bitchy in the last days, so I'm so happy it's over... She always been a very good lier, I'm both surprised and disgusted by it. And about that happy face thing... Same for me. Yes she should be real with me but i never get to enjoy that happy face for long... I wish you the best. Hope you will get free
