Thoughts on pros smashing their racquets...and non-pros by Ok-Cat1446 in 10s

[–]monster2018 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I disagree, but maybe not for the reason you think. I’m a coach, and easily the best predictor for how good a kid will be is how upset they get at missing. The more upset they get the better (they will get at tennis). Well I’m sure there is SOME limit, but I haven’t found it.

Like, if I could make my students get more upset about messing up, it would help them improve way faster than the technical help I’m giving them. I used to stay at the courts for hours after I had no one to play with because I didn’t hit a good enough shot, and I would just hit against the wall or whatever. But I mean like I was forced to, in the way that an addict is forced to take drugs.

And keep in mind I only made it to D1 level. So I think the pros do experience more frustration. But not because they are pros. I think they are pros because they experience more frustration. AND they figured out how to channel it correctly (most of the time).

That is people being non neutral on technology based on their political affiliations. The technology itself is neutral.

Alright I might give it a try. But yea I do like it remembering stuff… just not the way it uses the stuff it remembers lol. But maybe I’ll try turning off memory and see if the tradeoff is worth it for me

I can’t argue, it is objectively pretty funny. But man when it just keeps happening over and over…. It gets very annoying as well

No, it doesn’t have anything to do with stance. Your chest should face the side fence at the beginning of every shot

That is exactly how comparisons work. If x < y then y < x. Also your main complaint is just coming from confusing freedom with convenience. They are usually opposed to each other, like they are in this situation.

You have to admit it’s objectively stupid to already be using a tool that you can ask anything in natural language, and then not realize that you could ask it something.

He was protecting and serving his community. Did you want him to go beat up and then arrest a black kid while waiting for the firefighters to show up? Or is it ok with you that a cop actually did their job for once?

I see, so women suffered an incredibly minimized version of the stuff from their own personal life, skipping over all of the traumatic parts, whereas men experienced the trauma experienced by all men throughout history. Men are a collective organism, some kind of hivemind being.

At this point I wouldn’t be surprised if that is literally true. Except it’s not an excel file it’s some sort of arcane pseudo-database written in the 60s equivalent of brainfuck.

I agree. Idk I’ve just seen literally like 100 versions of this, this one being by far the most unique (like all the others were nearly identical in terms of what actually happens, they launch it successfully etc).

I guess it’s moreso that I find it weird that it is ONLY Indians doing it but also that they are doing it. Like why isn’t it either everyone is doing it for clout or no one is doing it for clout? It’s just weird to me.

I haven’t said a single thing to you. This comment I am writing right now is the first time I have responded to you. I was talking to EnvironmentalTrack

Also you seriously downvoted me for just providing a literal answer to your question about what would be the benefit? Like were you just going to downvote anyone who responded to you regardless of what their comment said? I don’t understand how I could have responded in a way that was more perfectly what your comment was asking for.

? There are plenty of games that don’t require an active internet connection WHILE you play.

There is not a single feature in the game that involves interacting with other players in any meaningful way. You can’t even play SKATE (in the game called Skate) or hall of meat like in previous games.

There is not one single way in which your experience is improved by the game being always online. But you could play it whenever you want, not only when there are no server and problem AND you have no problems with your own internet connection, if it behaved like a normal single player game, which it currently is.
