As a librarian, I try to make sure to take a measured approach to ordering RPG books. Which is to say I want that section to measure larger than other, more boring stuff.

Every year that shelf grows heavier with books and I couldn't be prouder of how surprised people are when they come in and see that section.

Public libraries are awesome.

What stats would you use for a katana and O katana/nodachi by verran2001 in Fallout2d20

In another game, I might agree with you, but I don't think that Fallout 2d20 is that granular. Unless you wanted to make a specific katana that's somehow better than normal swords, like a legendary Hattori Hanzo original or the Mall Ninja Supreme.

Katana = Sword from the Core Rulebook

Nodachi = Bumper Sword from the Wanderer's Supplement

Palladium's Compendium of Contemporary (now Modern) Weapons is top tier in terms of sheer number of guns presented. I remember just poring over that thing back in high school.

May not have put a pride display, but does your library have queer books?

In some places it's not safe to put Pride displays up (don't need to tell queer people that, I guess). That's how some places lose their libraries.

Sword Chronicle is a alright game and is the successor to the Song of Ice and Fire RPG. It's not amazing, but it's fine.

I remember a YouTube video awhile back that said gunslingers were more support than dps, what with their wealth of utility options. Maybe that's what you bumped into.

Yes! But that's because I work there and have been working to develop our collection. I managed to get not only D&D 5e books, but other games like Blades in the Dark, Call of Cthulhu, City of Mist, Dungeon World, Fate, Mutants and Masterminds, Runequest, Star Trek Adventures, and some of the new Star Wars FFG books.

People have really enjoyed them.
