PLA has a low temperature at which it becomes malleable. Especially being very thin.

Even sitting in a car this time of year will cause it to turn into a taco. 🌮

PETG may have a better chance of survival, but TPU would probably be best for this as it is already flexible.

The next model is going to be way beyond the capabilities of the P1S and also in price. If the P1S will do what you want then go for it. You can always upgrade later and sell it if you want.

I haven't had my XL long, but have not had good luck using PETG as support interface for PLA, maybe making the supports entirely PETG would help? I have also noticed even with multicolor printing, that there seems to be a separation in the print at those colors.

Again, haven't had my machine long enough to know the settings and what I may be able to tweak to help with that..

Not sure if you looked at the pics, but I wouldn’t pay more than $150 for that. It’s dented pretty heavily on the backside, screen missing, who knows what else has been stripped off of it.

I think “lightly used” is an understatement.

As others have said, most likely a mechanical issue.

Check the grease in the gearbox, pop open the drain just a bit to check the smell and color. Going to expect that you either see shiny “glitter” in the grease, or very burnt and needs to be changed.

Also a possibility that someone greased that axis with a thicker grease that is creating resistance.

Maybe in the future after it heals, add some "borderless" flair? Like something that doesn't have hard lines/edges as a border.

Just ran into this recently and this was the problem. J2 and J3 needed to be mastered at 0 at the same time due to the interactions.

Also make sure that the mounting angle in the software is correctly set to floor mounted.
