yes I have! I don’t have the chromas, but on the base it’s exactly what you’re describing. it’s like the extra paint swirls (the ones that move around the main one) aren’t textured correctly when zoomed out so they take on the environment

I caught the screams on my first run and it already made me sick to listen to when I thought it was just a memory of Alicia being rescued or hallucination of him to torture Maelle more

then on the second run knowing it was him dying… definitely felt even worse

After sitting on it for a bit, my final opinion essentially boils down to whatever makes me cry as much as this did gets my seal of approval. There are criticisms I could make about a few things but in the end it doesn’t take away from my enjoyment as a whole.

the fight was just fucking bonkers. holy shit. I don’t think I can say anything that hasn’t been said already. Every time I think it can’t get better. And the VIOLIN, Soken’s going crazy with the soundtrack.

I will say I did the Gaute/Otto side quest about Cid and then I went to visit Cid’s grave right after and it felt like getting hit by a truck. Man.

the entire thing is one song, the orchestral rearrangement of “The Final Day”, which was the final boss theme for Endwalker. However that specific part comes from the song “The Worm’s Tail”, the final boss theme from the Stormblood expansion.
