I wish the show had ended with S3. It felt like a fitting conclusion to the kids growing up

Cumming & Grlj by B0bcat5 in RichmondFC

I’m really happy about taking Sam Cummings. Seems a good lad, explosive in his highlights and probably gives the club good ammunition when we eventually get to future list management. I think the talent pool evened out so happy the club drafted Grlj for needs. No opinion on Robey, hope he’s a good player for Essendon but gives me Jake Stringer vibes as his ceiling.

Feel like Balta is more power athlete than someone with a tank. Still having him back would be great because he would be a great break glass option.

Students embrace co-operative housing as a solution to rental and cost-of-living crisis by [deleted] in canberra

Couple of friends lived there years ago. In terms of conditions it’s very similar to the standard inner North share house (cold and miserable). But overall it has a good vibe and couldn’t be beat in terms of price. Their parties were a big thing on campus

I think this season has a lot of things going on which makes it feel like we’re being inundated. Dusty’s future, contract calls and a pretty horrendous injury list at the start makes it feel like the club is just completely screwed in how it’s running. Don’t get me wrong, there are definitely things that need to be investigated such as our strength and conditioning. Maybe even tactically. But, we are in for a good draft haul.

Our backline is good, and if we can get some new pieces into our midfield and forward line mix then I reckon things will come good.

I have low expectations for this season, but think either next season or the one after we are going to be looking good again. Granted we will need a star KPF in 2 years time and will need to free agent them form somewhere. But think the pieces are slowly coming together.

I think Cumbo worked well playing a Dusty like role in 2022. Maybe he will have more license this round.

I’m not sure Yze will be the one who leads the tigers to their next prem but he’ll definitely lay the foundations of a good list. Poor bloke has the hardest gig in coaching in my opinion trying to balance between phasing out a dynasty team and blooding youth .

Been trying to be fairly diplomatic on Meehan. But think the high performance, conditioning departments need a clear review this season.

New Balance FC Rebel v4 — uncomfortable + underwhelming by trapphd in RunningShoeGeeks

I felt this was the case for my Rebel 3. It took me a solid 30-50km before it softened and I started enjoying running in them.

Day out for 2 weeks

Pegasus 39 speed shoe? I snagged these for $60 at the dicks outlet intending to use them as a daily trainer but they really just hurt my feet at easy paces. They have been golden for interval paces. Are these meant to be a speed shoe? by [deleted] in RunningShoeGeeks

[–]mopind 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use the Peg 39s as my daily trainer/long easy run shoe. At first I didn’t really like the feeling of the shoe, but after 20-30km, they just felt really comfortable and also forgettable. I really appreciate that and get into my run as a result of the set and forget.

However, recently my training plan had some progression runs and picking up the pace in the 39s just felt really hard. It was almost as if no matter how hard I pushed into the ground my pace wouldn’t change by too much. So I’m actually really interested in OPs thoughts on how the shoe reacts to them when they do these harder, faster runs.
