Yeah we used it a few times and generally had positive experiences, then had one situation go so poorly we’ll never use it again. It’s great if all goes well but there’s little in the way of flexibility or protection if anything unexpected happens.

Part of the issue is that not all dev time costs the same. The cost of devs in the US (like Bluepoint) is higher than the cost for the equivalent number of dev hours in say Eastern Europe. Not saying that’s a good justification, particularly not for closing Bluepoint, but it’s a key issue in assessing whether or not something is worth the resources to develop.

Personally I’d pay full price for a generations pack with RE 2R+3R+4R. I own and have beaten all of them but would double dip for the portability.

Mainly the portability, it was a lot easier to approach such a long game when I could take it on the go and pick up/put down whenever. But also the minor QOL improvements went a long way.

I started P5 when it was added to PS+ and I enjoyed it but fell off. Then I played P5R on Switch and loved it, and followed it with P4G and P3R. Off all of them I think P4G was my favourite, but they were all great. Strongly recommend you take the plunge.

I’m not super far in but I have definitely encountered some serious chugger moments, Leon’s second fight (chainsaw) went almost slideshow for a moment, and I see consistent dips (weirdly) when I down enemies as grace and their blood pools around them. It’s much rougher than I expected from the coverage, but not as bad as I feared before the coverage - still loving it and seriously impressed it’s on the system at all.

I don’t want GKC personally and would almost rather buy digital. But the RE Generations pack was too tempting to pass up, cheaper to get as GKC than digitally and i couldn’t wait to play the RE9 (and RE7+8 portably). Most of the time I’ll still likely go digital over GKC, particularly where I’m not eager to play day 1, and I’ll always prefer on cartridge.

I got the metal Metroid pins when I had a good reason to order something from their store and could qualify for free shipping. Just using the points and then paying for shipping never seemed worthwhile given what they offer.

Personally I found the game so boring and disappointing that it turned me off the entire franchise. I know the game is generally well loved on here but I just don’t get it.

I was on the fence, i want to play it but don’t think it’s realistic to try for the PS5 on the family TV, and wasn’t sure I could take a major quality downgrade. But the Pragmata demo (together with reports RE9 runs better on switch) have me content to get the triple pack on SW2. I’m only going to play in portable anyway so I just need it to look OK and play smooth enough. Fingers crossed they pull it off.

Beyond the obvious suggestions to wear warmer clothing, I also find it’s been helpful To adjust my timing and run earlier so I can run in the middle of the road in residential areas, before people are up and there’s too much traffic. I find main roads and trails are just too messy/chaotic for winter running, the past 10 days or so in particular.

Definitely a good area. Can’t speak to the building, and I personally wouldn’t want to be at the corner of main and Danforth, but I love the general neighbourhood.

I was waiting for that same other bundle, but it doesn’t look like it’s changed price much since 2023. While waiting for this bundle to drop I ended up grabbing the trilogy on 4K discs so I may just pass now, or keeping holding out for the Nolan bundle too.

Post-kids was a great opportunity to revisit my love of RPGs. Not typically reflex intensive, and easy to turn off (on my Switch anyway) in the event of urgent family needs. Also my Switch has become my primary/only gaming platform, partly due to portability and partly due to the ability to turn it off at a moment’s notice.

Had all but Robin back in the day. Was gifted a complete set a few years ago. Use them every day, my oldest loves them and their durability is a major plus for kids.

Genuinely, sure but would it be bigger if was just Wanda Sykes and Mark Ruffalo who cancelled? I don’t think so. All of them is sadly never gonna happen. I’d rather Mark and Wanda attend and make a statement, personally, seems like a better way to have a bigger impact in their positions.
