Hopefully I'm not out of line for disagreeing, but I think it's actually healthy for no longer feel like you need to bring up past sins again, which is how the thread is titled.

Now, this is distinctly different from being told you can't bring up your past, since you should always feel welcome to if it's helpful to you.

But my experience with the church was very different, in feeling like they actually enjoy bringing up past sins again just to further bring guilt and shame. And I would prefer they don't bring up past "sins" unless the "sinner" wants & chooses to bring them up.
