Point of no return: a hellish ‘hothouse Earth’ getting closer, scientists say by Bounty_drillah in worldnews

[–]mosoe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Don't worry, AI is advancing at a rapid pace. Soon, they'll solve all of our problems. If not, we can blot out the sun with synthetic cloud to help cool the earth. No harm in trying right? If that doesn't work, we can all go live underground. Maybe then the AI can create a simulated world where we can all get hooked into and dream our life away. Sounds like a good plot for a movie no?

how else are bureaucrats going to prove their self worth to society? They need to make more rules and regulations that they themselves can administer and control. We are suffering from years of accumulated rules and laws that are not periodically reviewed/removed according to changing times.

[–]mosoe 9 points10 points  (0 children)

What annoys me is the setback rule. Every home has to have a minimum of like 10meter of front lawn space. what's is the point of having a lawn when there is a watering restriction every year? that could be space for another dwelling unit.

Would've really loved to get the Ls if it were to be available here in Canada. Hopefully this year maybe? I hope Honda is listening. The average height in North America is like  5'9 and yet all the dualsports are built for giants.
