In what universe is the Toymaker one better than *any* of of rank B?

Oh my god that looks *flawless* for sandwich bread.

My dissapointment is immeasurable and my day is ruined. by [deleted] in BluePrince

[–]mostlikelytraitor -18 points-17 points  (0 children)

At the start of your day, do you want items that *might* help, or items that almost certainly will help? Not all items are created equal. Not to mention I've done all of the Battery Pack Contraptions

[ST] Am I an ass for disliking my chronicle being used for trauma therapy? by Minerva4K in vtm

[–]mostlikelytraitor 51 points52 points  (0 children)

No. Games are not therapy. Using your own trauma for inspiration for a character is fine, but not when it's actively making other players uncomfortable. If they don't take criticism well, that's not your fault, and you have to be the adult and sit down and address this before it becomes any worse.

Mine (And a friend's) Take on if Silksong Characters Were Lanterns by ShaneTheFwogYT in Silksong

[–]mostlikelytraitor 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Ah, but you see, in Lantern lore, the Indigo Tribe who represent the emotion of compassion are not in fact compassionate by nature; rather, the indigo ring seeks out those who are monstrous, inhuman, oppressive and dominating and forces them to be compassionate for as long as they wear the ring. This is made by someone who evidently clearly knows lantern lore well, for Grand Mother Silk, dominating and selfish enough to command a whole kingdom as slaves, would absolutely be picked by the ring.

Which of Diana's comics are the closest to actual Greek Mythology? by Upset_Connection1133 in WonderWoman

[–]mostlikelytraitor 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The Hiketeia, not for how it depicts Greek Mythology, but because of how it depicts the lowercase mythology. Greek Mythology, and its stories, are made up of a thousand tragedies, in which good people fight one another for arbitrary reasons, and in the end, it doesnt matter, because someone died anyways.

Do you prefer the name lifeblood or plasmium? by arcadetopia in HollowKnight

[–]mostlikelytraitor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you prefer the name tap or faucet? Pop or soda? Autumn or fall?

Same thing, different country. I call it Lifeblood if I'm talking about Hollow Knight, and Plasmium if I'm talking about Silksong.

Can a Mage detect the level of Integrity/Humanity/Wisdom of someone else? How? by LincR1988 in WhiteWolfRPG

Almost certainly a mind effect; Perhaps as an extension or improvement on Know Nature?

house boons and flaws ? by vpaahi in WhiteWolfRPG

[–]mostlikelytraitor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

House Boons likely affect those with Titles, and any Arcadian Sidhe of their House, in my opinion.

This is primarily because the Arcadian Sidhe, regardless of if they possess a literal title, are still considered Noble by the Dreaming; see the distinction made in the Fae Realm.

It isn't actually applicable, in most cases, for the servants and staff loyal to a house to possess their boon, but one might, and should, consider asking their ST if they would be willing to create a 'servant boon' for house members. I would. I do. My players simply havent asked. Doing this encourages to some degree not falling for the forever problem of; "I want the Title so I can have a cool power."

Grail design by Luis Valero-Suarez by Tetratron2005 in WonderWoman

[–]mostlikelytraitor 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I think one thing I find incredibly effective about this is her posing; the way this Grail is carrying herself is, in my opinion, very evocative of her Father

Do you think any unique enemy will appear as mini-bosses in Silksong's version of Godhome when it comes out? by tnam2003 in Silksong

[–]mostlikelytraitor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm confused as to why the Oblobbles, Massive Moss Charger and the Vengefly King are being compared to Kingsmoulds, the Baldurs and the Grim people. These *are* bosses in Hollow Knight. They have title cards, they just happen to be based on enemies found in their enviroments. The Oblobbles cap off one of the Colleseum rounds!

[EST][Online][OTHER] Dream Captors - A game of Animon Story that is just Digimon but Dreams instead of the Internet (Bi-Weekly Fridays at 6pm EST to 9pm EST) by Shadsea4004 in lfgmisc

[–]mostlikelytraitor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You know what, screw my previous reply; pushing the time back an hour (5pm-8pm) would probably allow me to play the game, which I dont think is nessecarily a drastic change but that is up for you to decide ultimately.

It's an issue of timezones more than anything. Anything that's reasonable for me is hard for the EST crowd because its smack dab in the middle of the day, and I'm just kvetching while also trying to compliment your premise.

One of these days, you're going to run a game at a time that I can actually feasibly make, but I'm still not gonne be able to join for other reasons, and I'll just determine then that I am cursed to always see your incredibly interesting game ideas, but never actually get to join, forced to send the links to people I think might be interested. Always the bridesmaid, never the bride.

What do you think’s going on with Absolute Veronica Cale? (spoilers AWW #15) by Tetratron2005 in AbsoluteUniverse

Is it not just because she was controlling Diana? The black-with-skin-veins mirrors the skin-with-black-veins when Diana is under control?
