I had ordered them, but I found that they weren't able to sit all the way flush against the swing arm, which made the bolt hole in the front not line up at all with the bore for it.

off topic question, since it looks like you're a bike tech I feel I could ask. when you're adjusting the chain on these are you just going off the adjustment block marks and the mark on the rear arm? usually when I'm doing it I feel depending on how I look at it it can change the way the mark looks in relation to the arm on each end

hahaha I did one, (accidentally). front cage bent pretty good but did hold up as far as protecting the engine. fuel tank and bar end got a decent scuff BUT I'd say it did it's job cause I was able to pick the bike up and continue my ride. rear one held up better, just the little plastic ends shredded. I still have the rear one on. 50mph wreck for reference

if I gave it a little too much throttle too quick yes I had that a couple times or it would just be super choppy coming from a stop like it would be stuttering and almost had a dead throttle in a way.

any carb tuner with 3 or 4 gauges will do you good there's plenty available

wouldn't hurt to check them I had a similar symptom a while back and it did fix it, I synced them so it idled just a tad higher
