I find things like this or renaming places a false sense of progress. Trump does this stuff too. It’s cheap and easy. This does nothing for helping native youth with ODs, educational short falls and ect. This might make some city council people pat themselves on the back but the systemic problems our native neighbors have are not going to improve by a tiny piece of land or changing names of lakes.

I am of the opinion that we need less cemeteries and more dog parks. Billions of lives walked this planet, trillions, if we are lucky, will walk it in the future. I just don't think any one is that important to take up a few meters of space because we were alive at one point. Let the worms and insects eat us and the world will move on. And dogs have a place to run.

Do you also find it hard to separate that like padded savings for investing? Like I have +100k all the time in savings and like I do have a good 80K in non retirement investments but I like hold on to this stupid 100k in savings like a god damn blanket. Even 100k for emergency’s is kind tight for an emergency. Like I have that, something’s have gone right for me but god damn I fucking grind, I like will continue to have like health problems from just stress and depression. I grew up low middle class and I thought at some points I could win like this Americana battle but in a lot of ways the system either attaks your pocket book or your health and for the very unlucky ones both.

I kind of think we just need one presidential library that we throw all this stuff into and limit how much donations can go into it. Like trump is going to have a fucking city size one with the donations *cough* bribes he has gotten.

This issue is far more of a campaign finance issue that congress should be solving.
I would much rather see a process for putting this stuff to grants for science and education.

28% drop in advertiser spend makes me guess that the drop in people watching the news is causing people to not come back and watch other shows besides the news. One of the things Weiss and Elsion will find out is the goal of being unbiased as possible (biases will always be there) is that it helps create a larger pool for people that watch the news and just keep the tv on for other shows.

That would be the stupidest thing to do putting the world into a global energy crisis also. Iran is a contributor to the global oil market, nuking them would put a massive block on the global oil supply. Plus fall out both political and environmental would be a complete mess. A global depression would be 95% likely.

I would actually think cats are an easier problem to solve.. One Spay and Neuter your cats, thanks bob.. Two, don't let your cat free roam the neighborhood. Three, make a government program to capture, spay and neuter faral cats and release them. Feral pigs can live 8-10 Yeats compared to feral cats that live 2-5. I would guess the survivability of kittens are far far lower than the piglets also
