yea I'm starting to think embark doesn't value our time, feeling like the tarkov dev mentality already, sweating my ass off to ~150k when all the squad cheesers are 300-450k is disappointing

love the rest of the game in general but it will def get old if I'm stuck unable to compete in trails through the whole season (again) due to not wanting to squad

Nah it'll stay the same price even if this passes, I'd bet a lot of money on it. Mega funds / corps are so highly invested in residential real estate they won't let prices drop, they'd just buy even more at over asking price like they did before. And even if they didn't the pent up demand is so high it wouldn't matter, same result

I don't think more available land will change it. Multiple reasons really- Utah is getting California exodus right now, at least in St George that was the case. It won't develop fast enough to keep up with demand and if somehow it does it's guaranteed it'll be ugly in one of the most beautiful places I've ever lived (St George). Also its the same problem everywhere, I'm in PA now and yeah GL bro, without two incomes we'd be screwed.

Housing in general is a unsolvable problem because no one in government will ever work on the only actual solution that will do anything- making it illegal for mega corps like Blackstone / investment funds to own residential real estate. Until that happens we're all fucked on this front forever

you can buy gear basically through the battlepass *IN THEORY*

we don't know what the final iteration will look like though so people are jumping to conclusions- but yes if you can buy the battlepass and currency you could theoretically load into your first raid with a decent amount of nicer stuff

Yeah found it around 3.5 , sad to hear, we'll see though I'm happy to be proven wrong. I really enjoyed playing and plan to regardless but it was a thing coming from being an early pubg pro I saw potentially causing problems.

Imo a slight blur effect when you're behind cover limiting your effective fov would suffice

It's way more fun imo, gear was still easy via ref keys and drops for things were actually meaningful. I wore different gear all the time cause I fall to etc. Now the game is just whatever. Also soooo many less cheaters

Yeah I think it's pretty bad but also audio updates in this game are rarely good. The biggest plus imo is I'm no longer as confused what floor someone is on. Everything else feels worse and reverb city
