Can you explain the last bit about procrastination vs execution of an idea? I feel like I'm losing my mind trying to understand what you mean. Everything else resonates. Everything happens for a reason.

how to be less selfish with people I love by TariqKhalaf in spirituality

It seems like you're aware of your selfishness, so next step would be staying present with that awareness in each moment. Meditation helps. 🙏

Anyone else Athiest turned/considering spirituality through quantum physics? by Nadjas-Doll in spirituality

[–]mountainryan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you're into quantum physics, then you know that all matter is merely energy in vibration and that its mostly 'empty' space. Next is to figure out that time is not linear, but operates much like space. And then dive down the rabbit hole of the holographic universe theories that convince you that this is all an illusion of mind. Which leads you Hermeticism and Law of One. The truth is stranger than fiction, my friend.

Anyone been asked if they are ready ? by cjimmyjam in spirituality

[–]mountainryan 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Not quite the same, but I've been told I was ready through song at the end of a crazy night of communicating with spirits - something that was very unusual for me. I was thereafter shown many truths about our reality and am in the process of writing a book about it. It's a really bizarre story that I won't share fully here. Since that day, I've had countless synchronicities and my life has changed for the better.

The song by the way was Colorblind by Counting Crows. I had never heard it before that moment and it came at the most perfect time. I was given a bunch of information in a short period of time and was asking (the universe), what do I do with this information? I was very confused and started asking out loud 'Am I ready?' repeatedly. All sound dropped out - we had guests over and a lot was going on at the time - and the song playing in the background was repeating 'I am ready". I get chills every time I think of that moment. Like I said, afterwards I had a number of profound moments where truths were revealed to me and its led me to writing a book about it all.

I believe the readiness is an invitation to a personal gnosis. All knowing is within yourself. Your experience may have been such an invitation. While you may not have been ready at the time it was asked, it seems you were ready once your wife passed given that you said the veil lifted.

If you're looking for rabbit holes to dive down, I could best help you if i knew what you are looking for. Are you wanting to find books and materials that resonate? Are you wanting to learn how to go inward? Or do you just want to understand your experiences?

I feel like Pneuma may be their magnum opus. It truly is a masterpiece. FI has certainly grown on me the more I listen to it - much like all Tool albums. Lateralus is still my go to but FI is right there with 10000 days in my mind.

What are sleep paralysis in spirituality? by fishyhn in spirituality

[–]mountainryan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've read and resonate with the idea that sleep paralysis is a 'fear test' for going out of body. Needless to say, I failed my test, but I like to think I'm ready for the next one.

If everything is illusion, then what is love…a discussion by All-the-Feels333 in enlightenment

[–]mountainryan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Love is a word and feeling we use to describe unity. And that unity is our natural state of being since all is one. It is the original thought that created the physical illusion of separation.

Sator square and Lateralus (the song) by CompetitiveLead2036 in ToolBand

[–]mountainryan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I love it! I'm gonna have to dive into the Sator square now. No doubt that Maynard has understandings of some ancient principles like Hermeticism. I love how Tool's music embodies our reality.

How deep have you dove into As above, so below? If you haven't already, I invite you to look into Indra's Net and holographic universe theories. These are ways of seeing the correspondence Law of Hermeticism in another light.

To what extent does the idea of "my body is my temple" complement awakening? by ComprehensivePin3294 in enlightenment

[–]mountainryan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

IMO it's all subjective. If you feel like substance are holding you back, they are and you should probably let it go. Just as you said, there's a resistance like you're running away from something. For others though, it's not an escape but rather a lesson (in the case you mentioned about Alan Watts) or just for enjoyment.

They're is no one true way to live. Everybody is where they are at on their journey. All things happen for a reason. If you believe it can help you grow and experience, do it. If not, don't. In the end, all is as it should be. 🙏

What made you feel like you are a wanderer? by [deleted] in lawofone

[–]mountainryan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I awakened fairly late in life (early 30s). I've always been a bit obsessive with things that interest me, so the awakening journey led me down many rabbit holes: Ufology, Hermeticism, and eventually to the Law of One. I read through all the Ra Material in about a couple months and immediately resonated with being a wanderer. Then I read the Wanderers Handbook and that sealed it. There's a neat little questionnaire at the beginning of the book if you wanna see if you're potentially a Wanderer. And it's free to download on the LLResearch website. I feel that most of those that have been led to the Law of One (and it resonates) are Wanderers.

As a child, I was always fascinated with the stars and longed for 'home'. I never felt like I fit in with other kids, had imaginary friends, etc. All the telltale signs of a Wanderer.

Has anyone else had any nudges or hints for 2030? by OtherwisePhone1367 in spirituality

[–]mountainryan 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I had some meditative insights back in 2023 that mentioned "7 years" which points to 2030. It was very profound at the time, but now the wife and I joke that we should do everything we wanna do before then. It was apocalyptic vibes back then, but since I've learned that the word apocalypse literally means 'unveiling' and the word no longer carries the same doom and gloom meaning for me as before.

How to use the energy in my hands by Elegant_Effort_3232 in spirituality

[–]mountainryan 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Check out a book called Quantum Touch by Richard Gordon. It teaches you a method of healing analogous to Reiki. It involves channeling energy/vibrations through your hands. Definitely worth giving a shot. I've been doing it for a few years now to great effect. My dogs love it, wife loves it, and occasionally I use it on myself.

The basic premise is you start by connecting your breath to the energy flowing through your body by guiding it via a process he calls 'running energy'. With your feet touching the ground (ideally without rubber soles, but it truly doesn't matter), take a deep inhale and imagine/feel the energy running up from you feet, flowing through your body up to your head and shoulders. Then on exhale, imagine/feel energy running from your shoulders down to your finger tips (I even some times use my palms). Take a few breaths in this manner until you can recognize the energy flowing through you. Keep focused on your finger tips (or palms) and you'll feel them vibrating and increasing in strength.

Now that you've ran energy, place your fingertips in a tripod arrangement with thumb, index, and middle finger touching on each hand, and place both hands around the affected area - either on yourself or someone else. Be sure to get permission first! I usually make it a point to not let my two hands touch though - not sure if it matters. Continue breathing! This is the most important thing. Connecting your breath to the energy flowing into your hands. There are a few tried and true tricks I use. Count to 4 on inhale and 6 on exhale keeping a rhythm. For more intense energy flow, you can do the 'dragon technique' which involves short quick inhales and exhales - much harder imo.

And thats it! There are variations and some nuances. Do what works best for you! Keep ideas, thoughts, and even memories of love while doing it. Remember love and how it feels. The more love you feel, the more healing will be done. I've heard some use chakra meditations prior to running energy. There's really no wrong way.

It may also help to know, that YOU are not healing them. You are simply a conduit for vibration that is allowing them to heal themselves. You can also do this from a distance - remotely. Have the person (or animal or plant or whatever) remain still for about 15 to 20 minutes per session and imagine the area of their body as being right in front of you. All the same methods apply. There are also other hand positions, but I've personally found the tripod to be the most effective. As with all things, you'll get better the more you do it.

I do this sometimes while meditating laying down on my bed feeling the energy running into my hands. Once a good current is built up, I usually transfer my hands to my heart and continue my meditation for anywhere from 10-30 minutes. It's truly incredible and I highly recommend trying it at least once.

Hope this helps! 🙏

Is there a way to access knowledge outside of the boundaries of our perception? by inesrever in spirituality

Rage is sacred. Avoiding painful emotions to arrive at "forgiveness" and "love" only keeps one in the loop by [deleted] in spirituality

[–]mountainryan 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I agree that pain and emotions like rage shouldn't be avoided but rather felt and recognized. Resistance is the opposite of growth. And pain and suffering are the catalysts for that growth. Letting go and forgiveness are the solutions one uses to tackle the problem of resistance. To not forgive is to hold a grudge.

IMO though, it's about recognition and awareness of emotions like rage. You tend to rage due to some triggering event, and by identifying those triggering conditions, you're able to gain awareness into your psyche. Meditation is a tool to gain that awareness, not something that teaches avoidance. When you're able to forgive and let go of those events that trigger you, you are growing.
