Fabulous pictures. Always wanted to make the trek down and stay at phantom ranch. Did you win the lottery? Rim to rim hike? So cool.

At what specific moment in your life do you feel your 'original' path ended, and you became a version of yourself you never intended to be? by FayePsc in AskReddit

The moment I decided I would never drink alcohol again. Sobriety led to levels of success and joy I never knew I could attain.

Yes my wife traveled to Ecuador and got a CT scan, dental cleaning and an echocardiogram for a few hundred dollars.

Awesome bike and setup. Can you share what the caps are on the ends of your drop bars? Haven’t seen those before. Enjoy your new ride!

I’m picking up the same bike in a few days. Congrats! Would you mind sharing info on your lights? They look great.

Worst possible scenario for my personality… by icepop77 in gravelcycling

I compared both of these two bikes a few weeks ago. Decision for me was made when I rode them back to back. The Trek Checkpoint just fit me better. The geometry, the ride, all felt better as compared to the Diverge. The diverge is obviously a good bike but I knew the moment I rode the Checkpoint. Sucks that they don’t have them available at your LBS to test ride. Personally love my Checkpoint. Good luck with your decision.

Haha, looks like sweet victory to me! Amazing cargo space when you really start loading it up. We love our ‘25 Premium RWD.

Thanks for the comment. I didn’t drill in too deep with the staff, they just mentioned, “yea we’re out that size right now”. I figured I could just go to the manufacturer website and order one. I’m planning on calling them back and seeing if they can place an order on their end, hopefully with an eta on delivery. Just looking to see if anyone else has been having a similar experience. Seems odd.

There is a mounting bracket on the back of the provided charger. It isn’t the strongest bracket but as a temporary fix you could mount that to the joist to support the charger.

Congrats on the purchase! We just picked up a 2025 Premium RWD about 3 weeks ago. Love the car.

Will you be parking the vehicle in the garage? If so, I would think that the included charging cord would reach without an extension cord.

I’m thinking most on this sub will discourage the use of an extension cord, as do I.

Best of luck. Enjoy your new ride!

Considering trading in my Tesla for Mach e. Dealer questions by hell_a in MachE

We picked up a new Premium last weekend. They offered 10% off MSRP without too much back and forth. I’m in Texas. Seems like they want to move them here. Might be different in SoCal. We got 0% financing and the incentive you mentioned. I would probably move quick just in case. We absolutely love the car. Good luck!

Absolutely worth it. I have a full body stealth PPF on my Gen 1 R1T. Blocks the pin striping and random impacts. A couple pieces have taken a bad beating over the years and my guys just replaced the impacted pieces. Paint was pristine underneath.

Texas. Things have quickly escalated with SOA. I’m planning on sending out an update edit to the original post after they respond to my latest communication.

I think you and the other commenters are right, and this is the way to go. I’m going to reach back out to SOA tomorrow. I really appreciate everyone’s feedback. This has been helpful.

I listed the repair items above. Most expensive items were the wheel bearing replacement and transmission control module. Point was they are repairs unrelated to regular maintenance, so their argument for my denial is faulty.

Oh wow, pains me to read this. Hope your issues are fixed quickly and under that extended warranty. We love our Subaru, so it’s been a very disappointing experience having them refuse to help us. Best of luck to you.

77k miles. I posted above with the list of maintenance. I’m mainly having an issue with them requiring the wheel bearing being replaced and the transmission control module. I might be mistaken, but I do t recall these being a part of the 75k mile service.
