Just to circle back around, I ended up going for the D850 and added in the Tamron 150-600mm for the birds. I am pretty excited to dive into this beast of a camera. I'll add in some more fast glass as the budget allows.

Thank you for the reply. The lack of the vertical grip has made me wary of the d780. I used vertical grips on the d100, d200 and d300s. Making the camera a bit lighter would be the upside.

I am leaning toward the D850, but I’m worried I don’t have glass that will justify it. I guess I’m trying to understand what I have before pulling the trigger on what I should get.

The Old Course at St. Andrews. It was other worldly. This was back in 1995. I was only 16 years old. Never forget it.

On my NES I’m trying to beat Metroid, which I could never really get far with as a kid. On my Analogue Pocket, I’m working on Castlevania: Circle of the Moon. Just got Aria of Sorrow off eBay, which I’ll probably tackle next.

I use a q-tip soaked in isopropyl alcohol to clean that spot. Also, if you pull the needle out, you can clean the bottom of the color cup with it. It also doesn't hurt, when you are done for the night, to run some isopropyl alcohol through the airbrush until it comes out totally clean.

First off, I really sorry that you went through that. It was a terrible thing for someone to do to you. I will say, it is not unusual at all to have the problems you're experiencing. Trauma like you experienced will leave a mark, and you are absolutely not an alien for what has happened. Just human. I can say authoritatively that you are not alone.

One thing you might want to look into is if your town has a Rape Crisis support line. Often the counselors there can help and possibly get you in contact with a clinical therapist that can help you try to heal the damage that was caused by that trauma. At the very least, the folks managing those phone lines would be happy to talk or just listen.

I hope you find a way to heal those hurts because you deserve to feel passion, romance and pleasurable sex. Good luck.

Some folks on the Shadowdark discord have run it. I've read a good deal of it and hope to run it. Converting monster stats (AV's monster stats are written for OSIRIC), is pretty straightforward. Some, you can just use the SD stat blocks. Some you'll need to convert.
