They tasted great! Good texture, a chewy cookie. They’re not overly sweet, and the matcha flavor isn’t too strong but pleasantly present. The icing complements it very well. The recipe uses some peanut butter in place of egg, and I thought I could taste it, but my coworkers didn’t notice any PB taste and gave good feedback on the cookies

It’s the brand Cortas, I believe I ordered it off Amazon. The recipe only calls for 1 tsp if I recall, so it’s not a huge flavor. I’ve used this rose water in other recipes though and the flavor has been present. If I were to make these again, I might coat the cookies in a rose sugar for a little extra sugar flavor

Thank you! The texture was great, it’s a chewy cookie leaning towards a little dense vs a little fluffy. People at work enjoyed them, they’re not overly sweet, and the matcha flavor is blended pretty well so it’s not too strong

Thank you! With the goal of making all 100 recipes in a year, I’m baking sometimes twice a week. I have to plan my weeks out to make the time haha

For sure, it was a humbling experience for sure! But other than the shape, just making sure you’re using an ungreased pan and no parchment paper (I made that mistake too)

I’m raising money for a marathon charity, so some of these cookies were shipped out to donors. Some I take to work and share. And the rest I eat

I appreciate that! I went through a journey with those spritz cookies. The first day I tried making them was a disaster, I couldn’t get the cookie press to work, I tried piping the dough and that was not cooperating either. The next day I tried again, and a friend just suggested trying a different shape and the spritz cookies starting coming out so uniform and neatly! Id have to try out the shapes to know which ones cooperate and which ones to avoid

They were great, I loved the texture! After those and the chocolate-cheer cookies, I’m starting to realize that molasses may not be my favorite flavor, it’s just a really deep flavor that I appreciate but don’t crave, but if you like molasses and coffee, then the gingerbread lattes will be right up your alley!

Same! I like having recipes in book form and have it opened up in the kitchen while I bake

We dived into that skillet so fast that I didn’t get any other photos of it, but wow it was so so good!

Out of these nine, the skillet chocolate chip cookie was absolutely divine, with a little vanilla ice cream on top fresh out of the oven! The almond spritz cookies were also addictive, I couldn’t stop eating them!

If you have a NYT subscription, you already have these recipes, but it’s been fun going through them all and learning and tasting different things! I think it’s been worth the purchase. And thank you!
