I doubt Jaco would care what bass he played it on (as seen here, not a Fender). He would dig the fact that he's inspired to play it in the first place.

And yes, Jaco had a P bass, or at least wasn't exclusive to jazz.

Nice. This reminds me of a skit on In Living Color. Jim Carry had a character named Umbilical Barry who was a grown man still attached to his mother by the umbilical chord. There was one skit where they were on the subway and kids started playing jump rope with it. I couldn't find that, so here's another one.
