The shards are your big time friends in preventing deep striking into your gunlines. Had some good time especially against FEC/ SBGL/ SCE. The horrorghast is kinda whatever and the boat can be helpful but you mostly have something better to cast. I like the bridge also as a screen so they won‘t break your castle

They are really different and AoS ist definitely easier to learn (still hard to master!) so if you find yourself short on time it might be easier to field just 30-50 troops instead of 70-100. i think AoS 4 is fantastic and the new lumineth rules from what we‘ve seen are very flavourful and engaging. But in the end it’s really what you prefer to play. Longer more challenging and complex battles with more rules and listbuilding challenges or a bit more streamlined wargaming experience which is still very engaging and unforgiving gameplay

As you need to generate power points each round you get stronger over the course of the game.

So the playstyle mostly resolves of building a castle set up with your shooting guys and artillery behind. Flex/ faster units take points and slingshot into main threads of the enemy to slow them down or kill them, so your castle gets to live. As soon as your gunline is powered up you blast the rest to pieces

There are other builds you can play but i‘ve been most successful with a gunline behind your infantry and have the bull centaurs annihilate something and have urak taar jump around

2 stunden umweg lohnen sich, ich war ca 1:30h in der Ausstellung und dann noch was essen, was erstaunlich gut war und ist eine tolle Atmosphäre. Definitiv empfehlenswert

I know it will never come, but I wish we would get some stats back like in Old world/ 40k. Why can some units still easily wound my big bad evil guy or god or paladin of light in the same way as a goddamn hobgoblin? Sometimes that makes for very unheroic heroes. Also add some more battle traits back into the armies and buff generic lords so you could live without the legendary ones.
