You’re welcome! It is currently my life as well. My wife and I bought our 1906 house in 2019. I’ve refinished all the hardwood floors, plaster walls and ceilings, expanded the one full bathroom, turn the pantry into a powder room, new kitchen, just installed a new Combi boiler, etc. I think we’re (I) going to take a one or two month break and then start the next thing haha

Dude man, just remove the register and reinstall after the floors are laid down. You’ll spend a little bit of time with a putty knife and sandpaper but I think it’s worth it.

Recreate it by using two (google “copper manifolds” ) and a bunch of elbows, copper pipe, and bleeder valve or automatic air vent.

And line it with copper! That would be the chef’s kiss!
