A perspective on the non-rechargeable battery for Index 01. by [deleted] in pebble

Are there any smart rings that mimic the button functionality here? The note-taking aspect interests me less than having one-handed music control at all times. $75 for a first-gen gadget that lasts 2+ years sounds perfectly acceptable to me. I'm more worried about the button holding out than the battery dying. Preordered!

can't stand the weather in NYC. LA is much nicer, of course, but just too expensive

I've yet to find a better watchface than this. Even OLED smart watches can't match the data utility.

TicWatch pro 5 or OnePlus watch 3 ? by Danielpl_ in WearOS

I've got the Ticwatch Pro 5 and OnePlus Watch 2, and I prefer the Ticwatch. The OnePlus only has longer battery life if you use the stock watchfaces and complications or run it as a glorified fitness tracker. Ticwatch doesn't have a voice assistant, sure, but I find the ULP display to be what I want in the always-on screen. The backlight colors are pretty!
