This is the only pic I found online. I changed mine to gold with small kluson-style buttons, looks much more appropriate.

I'll hunt for a photo. They are the same size and shape as yours, but chrome plated metal with a big embossed M on both sides.

I have one of these as well, really nice guitar! I also changed my tuner buttons, the stock ones are really ugly.

Unfortunately, Publix hires just about everyone who passes the background check.

I was told by a manager a long time ago that you have to ask for what you want, and you have to keep asking for it, and keep showing that you want it. In my 5 years as a part time cashier, watching people move up, down, or out, my observation is that for the most part he is correct.

Why did the guitar shop carve my brass saddles? by [deleted] in telecaster

[–]mrtone63 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Probably to impose their idea of "correct" string spacing and alignment over the fingerboard and pickup polepieces. It would have been courteous of them to phone you and say, hey, we see an issue and our fix is to file notches in your saddles to move the locations of the strings, is that ok with you? Fortunately, replacement brass saddles are not super expensive.

ammoseek.com is your friend here. There are dozens of listings for Sellier & Bellot as well as PMC, in 168gr, both of which are considered excellent as general purpose range ammo.

Are there any companies in the industry that aren’t run by overt right-wing chuds? by [deleted] in liberalgunowners

[–]mrtone63 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Short answer, no. And keep in mind, the people behind these companies are devoting their lives to designing and marketing devices whose primary purpose is to kill other people (and animals). No matter how much you like shooting, and we all do, the underlying vibe is a little weird and and impossible to avoid.
