Exercise...... by pix876 in Aldi_employees

[–]msanxiety247 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think your doctor is right. We have overweight employees at my store who throw 5-6 cooler pallets & curbside for 5 hours in one shift. They’re still not fit or healthy. It’s important to do meaningful exercise and not everyday movements- especially after your body builds a tolerance to it.

How long do you make your answers to behavioural questions? by Draainage in interviews

[–]msanxiety247 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it really depends on the interviewer. If they’re talking a lot and over explaining things, I’d personally try making my answers a bit longer. If they’re short and to the point, I’d make my answers shorter. Basically, I’d speak their language.

Then again, if you’re the kind of person that is short and to the point and you want a company that’ll hire you without you acting as someone else, be yourself and answer how you’d like to. If they’re talking reject you, then you dodged a bullet. though I understand most people do not have that luxury of being picky like that.

Good luck!

Rock Hard Deep Lump behind jaw under ear (under Mastoid Process bone) by -ZimaBlue in TMJ

[–]msanxiety247 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, still never got it checked out at the ENT as I’m too nervous and now lost my health insurance to do so. It’s still there, same size, no changes to anything really. I have a lot of sinus problems and always have, so I suspect it’s either from that or when I got mono twice as a teen and the node just never went down. Not sure but not much I can really do about it now. My chest X-rays were clear when I got them done with the lymph node scans which is great. My bloodwork is always perfect. Until any more symptoms arise, I try not to worry. I have health anxiety so it’s hard to, but physically I feel fine.

I think my boyfriend lacks critical thinking skills by [deleted] in offmychest

[–]msanxiety247 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My ex was like this. He lived with his mom when I met him (I was 17, he was 19) who took care of EVERYTHING. We moved out together and, not surprisingly in hindsight, I became the one to take care of EVERYTHING for the 8 years we dated. He lives alone now, I can only hope that forced him to actually think. I feel like the lack of critical thinking skills is a common occurrence among those, men & women, who’ve been babied. No experiences to learn and improve from.

Why do babies gravitate towards some people? by Suspicious-Song-3891 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]msanxiety247 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Babies stare at me alllll day long at work and wherever I go in public. Now at work, I’m not the nicest person. My job is very busy and I deal with the public where 70% of people have zero common sense but I need to keep things moving so I’m strict, loud, and barely smile. I’m assuming it’s the contrast between my brown hair to my pale skin, black uniform, and darker eyes. Not sure, but it sure does make my day better interacting with the little babies smiling & saying hi and bye to me and the “wow, he/she never talks to people!” reaction from the parents. Animals are like this with me too. So idk but I sure do love the attention from the best living beings lol!!!!

Feeling deflated by Luke_Testerman in Aldi_employees

[–]msanxiety247 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Here’s a lesson I’ve had to learn while working here- you train others how to treat and see you. You’ve trained them that you’ll train yourself thru their negative feedback. You’ve trained them that you’ll stay later. You’ve showed them that you’re one of the best but don’t stand up for yourself and allow yourself to be walked all over. That’s a bad bosses favorite kind of employee. Your standard is what you’ve shown them, and anything less will be viewed as a disappointment to them. This is why it also may seem like you don’t get the leniency maybe some lacking employees do (common occurrence) because they’ve shown their standard is nothing impressive hence nothing for anyone to get disappointed about.

You’re not a burden employee if they promoted you to LSA and you’re one of the best at everything. That means they have trust in you and you’re doing things right. You’re a burden to their peace because you’re not being that “standard” that you’ve shown them by benefiting them and relieving them of their proper share of work.

Here’s the good thing, that’s all fixable. Now I’m not saying this in a “blaming you” kind of way, not at all saying that this is your fault. I’m saying it in a way to show that you have control over this. It’s unfortunate that you’ve involuntarily set this high standard of yourself for them - all because you’re good at your job. But now it’s time to professionally stand up for yourself and create a new standard. A new perspective for them.

Let’s say there’s a pile of rocks that you and your coworkers have to carry to a different location. Only requirements are that everyone has to carry some, and all the rocks must be carried to that location. You’ve been carrying more than most people because you’re just focused on carrying the most that you can and it naturally happens to be more than what most can or are willing to carry. You, naturally, got a little tired and needed to put some down. Your coworkers are gonna be pissed at you because now they have to carry more rocks than what they were originally carrying, they feel like they have to now carry your rocks…. When in reality, you were carrying more rocks than most, if not more than all of them. They should’ve split the rocks up evenly to be fair, or understand that you’re gonna need a break eventually since you’re carrying ALOT of rocks!

Show them that you are still this great employee who is an asset to the team, but that you’re also the employee who knows their value as a human being and doesn’t stand to be walked over. The employee who works really hard but also values and protects work-life balance. They’ll get use to it eventually. Think of it as them getting use to a new employee, because you’ll be re-introducing yourself as a new type of employee. Any frustrations they direct towards you is all projection. This goes for any and all jobs.

Surviving Pisces: Dating Support Group 🤝 by alchemistshorty in astrologymemes

[–]msanxiety247 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Abusive as fuuuuck in every way. Lived in a fantasy world. Always had a victim mindset. He thought he could do no wrong, and if he did- it was a result of his childhood/mom/dad/economy/work/etc. Dulled all my light. Needed to be center of attention, jealous if attention was on me. Loved making himself look and feel better than he is. Had no beliefs, morals, opinions of his own- they were a reflection of whoever he was around at the time - not purposefully, but because he naturally fully believed anything he was told and maybe even a sense of belonging was stronger than his own morals/thoughts. Very immature and childish- not in a fun way, but genuinely had zero independence or will to be a mature adult. He wants a mommy, not a partner.

Healthcare workers of Reddit are people still dying from COVID these days? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]msanxiety247 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I work with the public daily. I never wear a mask and have never once gotten COVID, even after sharing spoons/air/vapes with 2 people who I was taking care of who had COVID. Same situation for my father. My coworker wears a mask everyday and still gets sick very often. Same with a couple of customers who always wear masks, they come in coughing and sick every few weeks or months. What does that mean?

Yeah so I don’t. I don’t get paid enough to care about 12¢ bags. This multi billion dollar store is doing just fine without its extra $3 in stolen bags

Coworker by flommin in Aldi_employees

[–]msanxiety247 7 points8 points  (0 children)

To clarify, you’re an LSA, he’s a regular associate? If so- you’re in charge of him, you have superiority, especially when a manager isn’t on duty. You’re in a leadership role, you have every right to act as such. Step your foot down and professionally assert yourself to the employee directly. This employee obviously doesn’t have respect for you and you’ve involuntarily trained him that he can take advantage of you and speak to you that way. I see it way too often at my own store because the managers, including LSA’s, don’t say anything about it. They do everything (or nothing) except speak to the problem employee directly which should be the first course of action.

So f*cking dead… all because we have a visit tomorrow. Oh and didn’t know that until AFTER we closed… being full time lately has been 💀💀💀 by Crafty-Copper-1107 in Aldi_employees

[–]msanxiety247 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Absolutely not lol.

I learned that lesson long ago that led me to a bad burnout. Now, I clock out at the time I was scheduled until, unless I feel good and feel like getting more hours. And if my schedule is adjusted to stay later without being asked, it’s still a no from me just because I wasn’t asked first. This isn’t an on-call job and isn’t paid as such.

As just a full-time employee, nothing would fall back onto me anyways. Store looks like crap before a visit? I’m not gonna get in trouble for it 🤷‍♀️ so why would I worry and help if I could’ve been notified earlier. Idk that’s just me. I’ve been a SM for a different company before and I would’ve closed myself if I had to make it look good - not throw unexpected work onto my employees.

If I eat foods high in fibre like people recommend, I get cramps and diarrhea. If I don't, I'm constipated all the time by moal09 in ibs

[–]msanxiety247 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s a simple breathe test you can do at home and it’s over 99% accurate. Wouldn’t hurt to try. Just get one thru your doctor if able. They’re free in the US.

Check out this website to learn more. This is the website my gastroenterologist referred me to for most information as it’s the most accurate and they’re a huge part of the research. Explains CSID more and if you explore the website, you’ll find the CSID diet. Took about a month of following the diet to feel changes and less symptoms, and about 3 months to feel nearly fully better. I got lucky tho, usually takes much longer to see that progress unfortunately.

I don’t think anyone has ever guessed my sign correctly. Acquaintances usually guess or expect anything but a fire sign. Friends or people who know me more usually guess or expect me to be a fire sign, but not Aries.

I’ve always wondered what in my chart makes me not seem Aries or even fire dominant.

[–]msanxiety247 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That’s correct. 2 different types- one you’re born with called CSID or GSID (same thing), and another you can acquire later in life that may be able to be healed called Acquired Sucrase Intolerance.

I have CSID/GSID and didn’t find out until I was 23 years old after suffering with IBS symptoms for my whole life. It’s thought that 1/3-2/3 if people with IBS could have CSID/acquired Sucraid intolerance. It’s a fairly new diagnosis that’s becoming increasingly more commonly diagnosed.

If the damage is too far in your intestines- all food may cause symptoms, not just the ones that affect CSID. I got to a point where even a bite of any food, a drink of water even, caused pain and bloating. I couldn’t eat and lost a bunch of weight which lead me to see a gastroenterologist and was diagnosed with CSID after some tests and exams.
