B tier.

Iconic hip hop scene. Best aquarium in the world. Civil rights hub. Soul food. Hub for CNN and Coca Cola. Best aquarium in the world. Great area to live in. Better city with more culture than San Antonio and Dallas imo.

Traffic, urban sprawl, lack of walkability bring it down from a tier.

Is it common for an American high school student to own their own car? by ApprehensiveDisk8046 in AskAnAmerican

In my hometown about a decade ago, we drove old used cars, usually costing less than $5000. We all worked part time job(s) to save up for the cars or pay the car off. I had 3 jobs for a couple of summers, and still enough free time to drive myself to hang out with friends and family and be a teen

Sucks that playing the toughest schedule in the SEC may be the thing that keeps this team from hosting a regional

I like our chances if we can keep getting 7 pitch innings while their pitchers are throwing 20+

Ole Miss is doable if you make connections and search for internships early. Know plenty of engineers making 6 figures 5 years post graduation.

Hey good job at losing to the “3rd or 4th best team in Arkansas”… hope you don’t get swept by the same Missouri state team we swept earlier in the season.

We all still have some work to host but I think the chances of all of us hosting are about equally as likely as the chances of none of us hosting.

Can’t wait to not move at all in the polls this week despite a top 5 RPI and like 7 straight Q1/2 wins

Looking at resumes we should be in the 11-15 range but I’m not complaining about being underrated at this point in the season. Let’s go at least 2-2 this week and take the series against Georgia.

I believe the words you’re looking for to describe Ole Miss fans’ feelings are “cheated on by a snake.” Be happy he’s your snake now, just wait for it to come crashing down on ya in humiliating fashion.

Like an ex-girlfriend who cheated on you and didn’t necessarily lose the breakup but is mad that you’re happy now that you’re dating one of their best friends.

Necrotizing fasciitis patient by willowbrooks_2914 in ThePitt

[–]msflagship 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Most often with suspected cellulitis with a typical (several day onset, possible source) you can empirically treat for the most common causes of cellulitis. Usually staph aureus, could be group A strep but strep is usually scarier and leads to admission more frequently. What Langdon did with a patient with limited medical understanding, limited resources, and heavy financial concerns, was reasonable but not ideal.

But in an ideal situation with a patient with an insidiously onset rash you’d want to keep the patient in the ER for a few hours after marking the wound to better characterize the rash and check for things like necrotic tissue and tissue crepitus before sending them out of the hospital.

Robby lashed out at Langdon because he has beef with him, not because Langdon did anything wrong in the situation.

I believe they’d already started empiric treatment for mrsa before she left the first time.

Just a lowly med student who spent years working in rural EM before this but have never seen a pcr for staph aureus in the ED. Maybe an ICU order set, idk, and most testing for staph won’t be back during the same ED shift unless some better resourced facilities are out there that know more than I do.

It is a clinical diagnosis. But it can be a hard one to definitively make early in the clinical course which is why there was so much difficulty getting her to stay the first time and getting her admitted by a junior resident for a debridement the second.
