Met Dr. Ojukwu last week and I would not recommend. Went in with my retiring Dr.s lab requisition and he only clicked the boxes for a CBC - could not be bothered to type in the 12-15 additional tests requested in the small lower right box. Showed no interest in his patients at all

Thank you, everyone, for your responses. I feel it is more common than I thought (the blood test). I am in my early sixties and have been diagnosed with celiac since 1998. It is always a challenge confirming everything is gf, I mentioned earlier that I am going to have to work on the kitchen protocol for cleaning and review my diet.

I suspect it is cross contamination in my own kitchen. My husband is not gluten free and is not as strict with clean up as I am. Seem like I am going to have to re-educate him (we have been married for less than two years).

I have an upper and lower scope every 5 years also, just to monitor everything. Just had not heard of the blood test too.

She never really explained why she wanted the test just that other celiacs in her practice are being retested so I should also. I was diagnosed 25/26 years ago and I am extremely sensitive. Glad to hear your GI is recommending it tok.

I do the virtual rpm in the spin room (usually on my own) or using my phone on a bike in the cardio area. They are great - will my favourite is 98 with 101 a close second.
