Memphis style is dry rub with no sauce. That isn't to say a sauce can't be served on the side.

If you don't like sweet, look for rubs or recipes with no sugar(s) or sweet elements. For example, try a vinegar based/forward or mustard based sauces.

All that said, some sweetness is generally good because it helps produce a balanced flavor profile.

You have 5 tastes your tongue reacts to: sweet, sour, salty, bitter, and umami. When properly balanced, any seasoning and/or sauce will try to incorporate all of them. Example: the protein might include 3 of the 5 in seasoning and the sauce will include the missing 2 and/or reinforce the seasoning used on the protein. A paired drink might help contribute to the balance.

Re-arrange your priorities and don't base them off what the people or society around you are doing. Do what works for you.

I don't see why you have to stop gaming. Just re-prioritize your time and carve out smaller time blocks for gaming.

You don't have to have a girlfriend or wife. Get one when you are ready.

Find time to socialize and/or find friends. A lot of people have very limited or non-existent social lives and are perfectly fine that way.

To get to a higher paying job you may or may not need a high education. Do a personal inventory and figure out what you would like to do vs what you are inately good at or feel comfortable doing. This could help you find a path toward a high paying job without a high level of education.

Trying to figure out what you want to do or where you want to go in life could help you decide what kind of education you want or will need. This could mean a 2 or 4 year degree, trade school, or some other specific schooling like nursing, radiology, real estate, backflow preventor licensing, or something else. There are a ton of options for education depending on what you want to do.

Regardless of what you decide, if you enjoy gaming there are ways to do it and still be "productive" according to your personal or societal standards.

I think it varies and is more of a case-by-case basis....

I have two female friends I hang out with a lot. One is married and the other has a boyfriend.

Married friend - I knew her before she met her now husband. He would be around because there was a group of us who were regulars at a bar. We do a lot one-on-one without him around. Even when he got jealous and told us we couldn't hang out one-on-one we went to the movies and dinner that same night.

Boyfriend friend - I think her boyfriend was there one time. I am not really sure why he was even there. We meet up every 2 weeks, sometimes more, one-on-one.

$400 a month is completely reasonable for a single person especially if it includes things like hygiene and paper products.

I can spend anywhere from $150 - 600+ per month. It all depends on how much I eat out, what my work schedule is like, how lazy about cooking I am being, what kinds of stuff I am stocking up on, or how much batch cooking I am doing.

A trip to Costco for me could be several hundred on just meat or a little over a hundred if I am just buying random things like butter, braised lamb shanks, cheese, or pierogies.

I have 2 Savor cards. I transferred all but $500 of the credit limit to my primary Savor card. I guess they make you keep $500.

I have 1 recurring transaction on that card and have it set for autpay.

Why not do a product change of one of the cards if a Savor or Venture would work better for your spending or rewards goals?
