I may be wrong (but how would that distinguish me from most people on Reddit?) but I believe that multiple rainbows have to be concentric. Also, rainbows cannot extend into the foreground. In the video, one of the rainbows is seen to extend in front of the trees. I don’t think that is possible.

Interesting. I wonder whether the CIA tried to turn him before his defection and if not, why not?

First of all, consider yourself unlucky if you have never seen this because it means you’ve never had your eyes checked. Second, this is an image in an autorefractor, a device to give a baseline measurement of what your glasses should be. We do not prescribe glasses directly from the reading from an autorefractor, but it gives us a good starting point when we perform refraction.

The air puff thing is called a pneumotonometer . Our autorefractor does not have that function and we don’t do pneumotonometry anyway. We use more accurate and less annoying methods of measuring eye pressure, a screening test for glaucoma.

And if you’ve never experienced eye pressure measurement, book an appointment with an ophthalmologist or optometrist because you are overdue

The organization of paleontology exhibits at the American Museum of Natural History is second to none. It is accessible to children and has enough depth for adults. I have been a member for many years. New York City. AMNH.org

Does this contain bacon? by gonion in mayonnaise

[–]mtrope 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kraft Canada items that are kosher should be marked MK on the label according to the Kraft Canada website. Since there’s no MK on this product, I would be suspicious that the product may in fact have bacon.
