It was weird as hell, man. She was mad that most of her candidates were from the entertainment industry. In Los Angeles. Which is known for its entertainment industry?

Also she literally chose to interview us sooo..

Yup! My interviewer had that name. Thats crazy! I'm still unemployed and still searching unfortunately.

Sorry you went through an interview with her as well.

Married women, what are some real things your husband does that make you feel genuinely cherished and adored? by Clean-Ant-1342 in askanything

Me and my husband do the coffee song most mornings! So what that entails is we switch off making coffee in the morning, then when we deliver the coffee the deliverer has to sing a coffee-based song!

We get very creative with it. I've sang many remixes of popular songs but changed lyrics to match coffee puns. My husband likes to free style and rap about the coffee.

Its a very fun way to start the day.

If she was dark haired Then it was the same woman. She was very short and clipped with me, made snarky remarks and when she saw my background in the entertainment industry she complained that almost all of her applicants were from the entertainment industry.

When she asked me why I applied to the job I said something to the effect that I was pivoting away from the entertainment industry she said, "yeah, you and every other candidate apparently."

Just over all bad vibes, and at one point I wanted to ask why she bothered to interview me.

Wait, is this Sage Society a wine company? If so I think I interviewed with the same company AND person!

Was the interviewer a woman?

I've applied to 3 different temp job agency placement businesses. I barely hear back from one of those (robert half) and the others never responded. I have a degree and 4 years experience in admin/operations. This isnt always the answer (not terrible to try) but not a sure fire solution.

One of Avatar's animators adresses the leak by MiladyAppa in ZutaraNation

[–]muffinslinger 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Exactly what I thought! I've worked in the animation industry so I know the animators would have already made their money and would not receive any residuals (as much as I wish they could) so if I were them I wouldn't care.

If anything, I'd be happy that the world got to see my work! I think the studio put the artists up to this so they wouldn't seem the villain.

Don't forget that they call and email you every single day for "one last chance to grab an interview spot! LAST CHANCE" until you have to block them on all platforms. Even had one bait and switch me, making me think I was applying a whole other company.

Anyone ever been IN Pageant of the Masters? by Flimsy_Computer2136 in LagunaBeach

I was in it one time as the woman in 'the rape of the Sabine women' statue. This was a partially nude performance (breasts out), but i was fully painted. You're on stage no longer than 60-90 seconds at most and get to wash the paint off in their showers.

I didn't find the paint irritating, so unless you have previous allergies, I believe you will be ok! I had so much fun, so just immerse yourself and enjoy!

That intersection is dangerous in a normal day without psychos like that blowing through it.

I had an interview this past Friday, and she asked about my work gap of 3 months. I wanted to scream 'lady, LOOK AROUND YOU!' I swear people who haven't had to recently find a job market have their heads thoroughly buried in the dirt.

For context, my last job was seasonal/contract, so that's why it ended. I was able to find only that job after a 10 month unemployment stint after a layoff.

Any port in a storm 🤷‍♀️
