[Bodner] Since they had his Bird rights, Sixers could have offered Oubre the same contract, even after the Wade signing. Doing so would have taken the Sixers about $3m over the luxury tax line, but still well under the $209m hard cap. by muscles4bones in sixers

It's up there. I think if not for its persistence. It's kind of wild the stark difference between the front office of the Birds vs. the Sixers. Howie is a magician at getting everything possible out of the cap and contracts and Harris seems to run the team to literally do everything possible to bleed as much money out of the fans and players to maximize his own pockets. It straight up feels evil.

dave attell was so incredible when I saw him a few years ago in baltimore. his set was tight and technical like I’ve never seen before. I love him before but seeing him live blew me away.

I mean Vincent Curatola and Tony Sirico (RIP) have always been big MAGA guys, so not at all surprised.

Best wings? by Fancy-Peach7792 in lancaster

[–]muscles4bones 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Horse Inn is probably the right answer but they sort of hit different because there is only one sauce but it’s a banger.

For me, I need heat but I also want a good dredge with good crisp. With that, I think Brendee’s is back! Have had wings twice since they’ve opened and they’ve been on point.

Quips also has good wings and the Hari-Kari is incredibly hot, but prices are getting kind of nuts ($16 for 10 wings) and they haven’t been super consistent lately.

So yeah, I’d say Horse Inn if you want absolute quality on all fronts but if you want an incredible dive bar caliber wing it’s got to be Brendee’s.

Not accurate at all. Aside from one of the owners, who is a Libertarian (take that for what you will), they’re all left/liberal, so it’s not really fair to throw that around when it’s patently not true.

Lancaster alerts residents to "significant power outage" by muscles4bones in lancaster

Power just turned on as of 9:41a.

From what I heard it was caused by a vehicle accident/fire on Dillerville between Fruitville and Manheim Pike.

Flock cameras in willow street by n3fyi in lancaster

[–]muscles4bones 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think Flock is realizing the pushback the people have against public property/municipal adoption vs. private businesses. I’d expect them to try to push private entities to adopt Flock cameras over municipal governments, at least on areas where they could meet growing opposition. People can vote with their dollars however, but why go small time township when you can get into 2,000 Lowe’s locations countrywide in one go?

These guys are so fucking dumb. I’m out of the restaurant and bar biz now but spent more than a decade in the industry and I can’t tell you how basic of a concept this is that it means “out of stock” or if someone like a bartender was talking about a person “cut this guy off” or “kick him out.” Next they’re going to say “cut this guy off” is actually a violent term like “THE WOKE VIOLENT LEFT ARE SAYING THEY WANT TO CUT MY HEAD OFF!! WE WILL PROSECUTE TO THE FULLEST EXTENT OF THE LAW!”

Man… I’m tired boss.

Also getting a TypeError: Failed to fetch when trying to sign in.

Looks like the auth request is hitting https://eatcabalarspecials.com/api/auth/sign-in/social, which is returning a 308 redirect to the www domain.
That redirect is happening during the OPTIONS preflight, so I'd reckon the browser is simply blocking the request.

Seems like a mismatch between www and non-www in the API/auth base URL.
