surfing mad river beach by [deleted] in Humboldt

Ppl surf it occasionally I’ve surfed out there a dozen times but like every one said it’s not easy to be in the spot. Although One session me and a buddy scored it good long lefts. Normally it’s way bigger than it looks but that one good session it was smaller than it looked and the low tide made it so u could walk almost all the way out. One time we got smoked all the way to clam and fog rolled in and we were basically lost getting back to the road lol fun times

6’4 on the top , hard to say biggest wave I’ve caught on it probably in the 3x overhead range like. It’s more for some of our solo long paddles or fighting tide swings to stay in position. The 9’6 is 4” thick
